About me

I founded Magnus Communications in 2006. As Managing Director, I bring a wealth of experience gained from more than 30 years in news, documentaries and current affairs in both radio and television.

During my career I have worked on award-winning documentary and current affairs series including Brass Tacks (BBC Television) and Dispatches (Channel 4 Television), and as a reporter and presenter on BBC World Service Television, BBC News Channel, BBC Radio 4, Radio 5, Sky News and Bloomberg Television.

Through my media company Magnus Communications, I bring an analytical, investigative and insightful approach to chairing conferences, facilitating meetings and interviewing. I am also a regular presenter on Share Radio, the UK’s first national radio station dedicated to business, finance and money matters.

My approach

I make connections between people, information and ideas. My aim is to make audiences think as well as listen. I am always meticulously prepared and bring to every event a sound grasp of the issues, solid background information and carefully structured questions.

Thanks to my long experience in live radio and TV, I know how to handle difficult situations on air and follow lines of enquiry arising from discussions.

As my client you can rely on me to manage the debate, address the issues, sustain the momentum and challenge and inspire your audience. To find out more, please contact me.

"Engaging, analytical, thorough and tenacious, I bring authority and credibility both to our role as facilitators and to your event"
